The intersection notch must be created at the intersection between a pattern’s internal axis and the selected section from its contour. To create an intersection notch on a piece, select the Create intersection notch function, from the Garment mode. At the level of Step 1, select the element indicating the direction, and, at the level of Step 2, click on the contour, to indicate the desired area. The intersection notch must be created on the contour area selected, where it is intersected by the indicated element. The formed notch has the default parameters’ value.
You can modify the following parameters: Notch type, Length, Width, Position, Angle, Deviation, and validate the actions by pressing Enter. By pressing the Ctrl key, you can select notches that have different parameters, while, in Context options, you can edit the fields. On the distance notch, you can apply the Create point action (this action is detailed upon in Percent notch).
