The drawing process starts by clicking inside the working area, each click generating a new point, that is linked to the previous point by a segment. The point first created is the origin point of the piece.
Finish the drawing process:
In function of how you will finish the drawing, will result in pieces with:
– open contour – the shape will not be filled with color
– closed contour – the shape will be filled with color
In order to finish drawing an open-contour piece that has at least two points, press ESC. As for finishing drawing a closed-contour piece, the last created point must overlap the point first created. A closed contour results only if the piece contains at least 3 points.
To continue drawing an open-contour piece, click on one of the end points.
Pressing the “I” key allows you to carry out the magnetization on one of the ends of an open contour without continuing drawing.
As regards the constraints while drawing, they can be operated by:
- Pressing Ctrl – constrains the drawing of the following segment to angles varying once in 15 degrees to the absolute value;
- Pressing Shift – constrains the drawing of the following segment to angles varying once in 15 degrees to the previous segment.
