This function allows you to overlap two or more pieces, in some specific elements of the pieces, with the purpose of checking the paths of the pieces that will be sewn together. The eligible elements for bringing the pieces in this relation are Main points and Notches.
To bring the pieces in a Marry relation, complete the following steps:

• Select the first element, on the mobile piece;
• Select the second element, on the mobile piece;
• Select the first element, on the fixed piece;
• Select the second element, on the fixed piece.

Once these steps have been completed, the selected elements of the mobile piece are overlapped on the selected elements of the fixed piece. The mobile piece can then be translated or rotated, according to the option selected in the last step:

• Element direction – overlap the points of the two pieces;
• Tangent direction – overlap the first element and the tangent of the mobile piece to the first element and the tangent of the fixed piece.

Validate the Marry relation by clicking on the Marry button.

Tips:

• There are no restrictions to the number of pieces that can be in this relation.
• The relation is created on all sizes, not just on the base size.
• The pieces can sustain different alterations while being in a Marry relation.

Actions that can be performed on pieces in a Marry relation, while maintaining their relative position:

• Moving the parts on the working area;
• Changing the base size and performing grading adjustments;
• Adding points or technical elements and performing modifications to properties;
• Seam allowance and corner adjustments.
