Divide section in a given number of parts

This function allows you to divide a section into a number of equal-length parts.

When accessing the function, on the right side, are displayed its Function steps :

Step 1: Select the first point delimiting the section that you want to divide;
Step 2: Select the second point delimiting the section that follows to be divided;
Step 3: Select the direction – indicate the direction between the two points;

If you are already familiar with the function steps, you can skip multiple steps and use the last step by selecting the section you want to divide:

Step 4: the dividing options where can be set the following parameters:
- Lenght info – the length between the two selected points

Invert end – checking this option triggers reversing the end point 1 with the end point 2;
Divide by – the dividing must be done according to this option:
- Parts number – the section will be divided by the number of parts entered in the Parts field, their length being equal and being automatically computed in the Length edit.

Length – the section will be divided by the number of parts entered in the Parts field, and their length will be defined in the Length field.

Note!When the dividing of the section is carried out by defining the number of parts and their length, the points are placed on the section relative to the latter’s first end.
To complete this function, click on the Dividebutton. To exit the steps sequence, click on the Quitbutton, or press Esc.
