Note!This function needs Linked pieces/ Quality zones license.
In the version without Linked pieces/ Quality zones license, you can create up to three linked pieces/ quality zones in the model.
When opening a model that contains more than three linked pieces/ quality zones, a pop-up will appear with the following message: “You do not have license for Linked Pieces/Quality Zones. If you open the model, only three linked pieces/quality zones will not be deleted.” and the model will keep only three linked pieces / quality zones.

Steps to create a linked piece:

• Create the drawings for the root elements.
• Select the Create a LINKED PIECE function.
• Once the Create a LINKED PIECE button is pressed, follow the steps indicated in theActivity Zone. Keep the CTRL key pressed for selecting multiple areas to become part of the wanted linked piece.
• Click on the Validate button from the Activity zone, or press the ENTER key to indicate that your selection is complete.
• Right after indicating the selection’s end, the linked piece is dynamically displayed, attached to your mouse cursor. The following step, also described in the Activity zone,  indicates the position in the working area for the newly-created piece by simply clicking inside the position wanted.

Note! Create linked piece is a repetitive function. It allows you to generate multiple linked pieces just by repeating the steps from the 2nd to the 5th, as described above.
