Use this function on the digitized models or that were imported from other CAD systems or PLT, CUT, DXF files.

After digitizing or exporting from other CAD systems, the piece contour is formed by dots joined by lines. The curved sections are approximated by a bundle of straight lines reproducing the curve shape. These straight lines are connected together by curve points. 

The Interpolate function transforms these imperfect curves (formed by segments) into perfectly smoothed curves, that can be easily reshaped, by removing the curve points (sometimes eliminating all of them) from all the sections of the selected piece(s).

When applying the Interpolate function, the curve points are removed from the piece contour, so that the deviation between the interpolated contour and the original one should not exceed the value of the threshold set for the Interpolation maximum deviation from the Settings window.
