To create technical lines, access the Create technical lines function. Once the technical line(s) is/are placed, on the right side, the function’s steps open, together with the editing area of the line created.
Technical line properties
Start point name and Stop point name– the names of the created technical lines’ end points;
Line type – a click on the arrow allows expanding the line type list: Common, Text, Button hole, Pocket. To each option corresponds a graphic representation of the line type.
Show name of the piece – allows displaying the piece name straight on the technical line.
Text – when choosing the Text line type, this option becomes active and editable.
Note! The text displayed on the lines is resizable according to the length of the line, so that it could be enframed on the line’s entire length. The resizing is carried out until the characters get no more than 2.5 cm heigh or no less than 0.3 cm heigh.
Length – displays the length of the technical line.
Angle – displays the angle of the technical line relative to the Cartesian system.
Narrowed – allows editing the ends of the technical line.
Extend to contour intersection – allows extending the ends of the technical line up to the point they intersect the piece contour.
Do not rotate on nesting – if you wish that the piece element should not be modified while nesting the pieces, check this option.
Move 1 from origin – displays the actual value on X and Y of the technical line’s end 1 relative to the piece origin. The position of the end 1 can be changed by editing the values.
Move 1 from current – by editing this value, you can change the position of the technical line’s end 1 relative to its current position.
Move 2 from origin – displays the actual value on X and Y of the technical line’s end 2 relative to the piece origin. The position of the end 2 can be changed by editing the values.
Move 2 from current – by editing this value, you can change the position of the technical line’s end 2 relative to its current position.
Show on symmetrical – allows you to transfer the technical line on the piece’s symmetrical, as well.
Cut piece with line – allows you to cut the piece along the technical line.
Create points on contour intersection – main points must be placed on the contour, extending from the line.
