To create a translated contour, access the Garment mode, and click on the Create translated contour button. Following the creation steps, the translated contour is automatically placed at a 1-cm distance from the piece contour.
The editable parameters are:
Offset on 1st end – here you can set the offset of the element’s first end relative to the contour;
Offset on 2nd end – here you can set the offset of the element’s second end relative to the contour;
Use same value – this option allows you to feed the offset value in both fields;
Rotation angle – the angle by which the element will be rotated relative to its initial position;
Rotation center – automatically positioned halfway (50%) along the line created; can be subsequently edited.
Intersection points – allows you to create main points there where the translated contour intersects the pattern’s contour.
Cut – you can cut the pattern with the translated line by clicking on Cut.
The Show on symmetrical option can be checked. If a symmetry axis is declared, when the piece is symmetrized, the translated contour will be displayed on the symmetrical side, as well.
